He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyt Montgomery and Lottie Mae Jenkins Montgomery; his wife Francis Farmer Montgomery; his son Kenneth T. Montgomery; and his siblings, Marion Montgomery, Gene Montgomery and Betty Lackey.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn Owenby (Grady) of Thomaston and Doug Montgomery of Thomaston. He is also survived by six grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
