He was predeceased by: his parents, James Claire Womble and Vera Erline Womble; and his sister Brenda Womble. He is survived by: his wife Tonna G. Womble of Thomaston; his son James Esley Womble, Jr. of The Rock, GA; his brother Donald Lee Womble (Debora) of Thomaston; his grandson Riley James Womble; and his sister-in-law Karen Sue Anthony. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
