She was predeceased by: her parents, Murris Bice and Etta Mae Burgess Bice; her husband Lewis C. Bennett; her son Rob; and her sister Elaine Wilkerson.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan McCrary (Lee) of LaGrange; her grandchildren, Laura Leigh McCrary of LaGrange, Kelly McCrary of Opelika and Ben McCrary (Piper) of Auburn; and her great grandchild Joel McCrary of Auburn. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
