He was predeceased by: his father Jack Lanny Dover Sr.; his in-laws, Donald and Sandra Parks; and his brother-in-law Tommy Parks. He is survived by: his mother Martha McCranie Dover (Lisa Parks Dover) of Thomaston; his children, Kassi Shumate (Ryan) of Yatesville and Grant Dover of Thomaston; his brothers, Scottie and David Dover of Thomaston; and his grandchildren, Mason and Kennedi Shumate.
