She was predeceased by: her parents, David Lonzo Anderson and Mary Kate Spear Anderson; her husband Charlie A. Colwell; her son Randall Colwell; and her siblings, Richard Anderson, Alvin Anderson, William Anderson, John Anderson, Owanee Conner, Jewell Pugh and Mae Anderson.
She is survived by: her daughter Stacie McElhenney (Tony) of Thomaston; her brother Steve Anderson (Cathryn) of Thomaston; and her grandchildren, Austin Langley, Heather Dunn, Mindy Leithesier and Dustin Colwell. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
