It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Brodie (Thomaston, Georgia), born in Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on November 23, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Clifford Brodie and Geneva Owen Brodie. He is survived by: his wife Clarice Brodie of Thomaston; his daughters, Christin B. King (David) and Catherine B. Escaro (Dan); his brother Dr. Owen Brodie (Patricia); and his grandchildren, Adam Brodie King, Anthony Reed King, Claire McKinley Escaro, Daniel Kent Escaro Jr. and Liliana Marie Escaro.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be made to the Thomaston First United Methodist Church, 132 Cherokee Rd, Thomaston GA 30286, or Wounded Warrior.
