It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Salter of Thomaston, Georgia, who passed away on July 22, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Edgar Williams and Katherine White Williams; and her husband Billie Salter. She is survived by : her son Ray Gassett (Mary) of Thomaston Ga; her siblings, Johnny Lamar Williams (Kathy) of Thomaston Ga, Ricky Williams of Jackson Ga and Wanda Jean Burt of Thomaston Ga; her grandson Jason Gassett (Anna) of Thomaston Ga; and her great grandchildren, Jake Gassett and Kate Gassett of Thomaston Ga.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
