He was predeceased by: his parents, Blake Harwell Stansell, Jr. and Mellie Dawson Stansell Blount. He is survived by: his sons, Blake H. Stansell, III (Jess) of Durham and Jeremy Stansell (Jaimee) of Commerce; his sister Linda Jennart (Fred); his grandchildren, Josiah, Jeremiah, Joshua, Meherrin, Jorja, Dawson and Saylor Stansell; his niece Carrie Stager (PJ); and his pets, Gus and Becker.
