He is survived by: his father Sheridan Daniel Mathis, Sr.; his fiancée Cora Lee Blount of Thomaston; his son Christopher Allen Mathis of Thomaston; his siblings, Heather Mathis of Thomaston, Angela Mathis of Conyers and Jason Mathis of Thomaston; and his niece Taylor Danielle Mathis of Thomaston.
