It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Blackmon of Thomaston, Georgia, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Hugh Stewart and Naomi Pitts Stewart; and her son Rev. Matthew "Matt" Blackmon. She is survived by : her husband Carlton Blackmon of Thomaston; her sister Brenda Kelley (Grady) of Thomaston; and her grandchildren, Kaleb Blackmon, Lason Blackmon, Jaden Blackmon and Bella Grace Blackmon. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Coggins Funeral Home (321 Hannahs Mill Rd, Thomaston, GA 30286). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home (321 Hannahs Mill Rd, Thomaston, GA 30286).
