She was predeceased by: her husband Garner McKenzie Ellerbee; her parents, Edward Eugene Smith and Mary Lizzy Walker Smith; and her siblings, James, Billy, Mancel, Connell, Marvin Smith, Mary Ann Johnson, Sara Daniels and Josephine Starnes.

She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Bridgman Burr (Shane) of Canton and Carol Bridgman Watson of Thomaston.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fletcher Day Funeral Home (628 N Church St, Thomaston, GA 30286).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests for memorial contributions to be made to the charity or ministry that touches the donors' heart the most.
