She was predeceased by: her parents, Chancey Brookins and Lucille Brookins; her husband Ben Jeff Ard, Sr.; and her children, Suzette Avery, Kevin Ard, Benjie Ard and William Mark Ard.
She is survived by: her children, Lucy McDaniel (Jeff) of Thomaston, Perry Ard of Thomaston and Kerry Joe Ard of Covington. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
