He is survived by: his wife Betty Middlebrooks; his children, Judy Pressley Phillips (David), Asheville, N. C., Jana Pressley Fletcher (Jim) of Flowery Branch, GA and Mark Pressley (Sala) of Norman Park, GA.; his grandchildren, Jennifer Phillips Negrea (Gabi), Ana Jane Fletcher Shepherd (Kolby), Jay Fletcher (Jennifer), Banks Fletcher (Michelle), Sam Fletcher and Katherine Phillips Young (Ethan); and his sister-in-law Sue Bankston (Georgia). He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fletcher Day Funeral Home (628 N Church St, Thomaston, GA 30286). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (208 S Church St, Thomaston, GA 30286). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at the South View Cemetery (942 S Church St, Thomaston, GA 30286).
