She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie H. Partain and Alvesta Corley Partain; her husband Emory Jarrell Pitts, Sr.; her children, Sandy Beth Pitts and Emory Jarrell Pitts, Jr.; her sister Jean; her brother-in-law Jarrell Yates; and her close friends, Sam and Reba Boyt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Michele Pitts of Thomaston and Daphne Neuhoff (Benjamin) of Pasadena, California; her grandchildren, Andrew Pitts (Mercie), Benjamin Pitts (Brittany), Chris Pitts (Anurag) and Dylan Pitts (Caley); her great grandchildren, Charlotte Pitts, Madison Pitts, Aurora Pitts, Caspian Pitts and Bennett Pitts; and her friends, Tammy and Barry Wheeless.
A graveside service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Upson Memorial Gardens (1367 Woodland Rd, Thomaston, GA 30286).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
