He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Herschel Hitchcock and Ruth Hitchcock; his significant other Rosalie Hodge; and his sons, Mark Hitchcock (Denine), Herschell Hitchcock (Leslie), Kevin Hitchcock (Michelle) and Paul Jr. Hitchcock (Leslie).

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Coggins Funeral Home (321 Hannahs Mill Rd, Thomaston, GA 30286). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Crystal Hill Cemetery (321 Hannahs Mill Rd, Thomaston, GA 30286).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Auxiliary at Upson Regional Medical Center, or St. Peter the Rock Catholic Church.
