It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter James Wagner of Thomaston, Georgia, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 22, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Peter J. Wagner and Genevieve Wagner (Vilsack); his wife Betty Wagner; his siblings, Carole Kren of Jacksonville, FL and Kenneth Wagner of California; his daughter Laura; his son-in-law Donnie Perry of Barnesville, GA; his grandchildren, Peter James Wagner II of Worcester, MA., Amy Perry (Patrick Boehm), Ryan Perry (Kristy) and Brian Nelson (Kristie); and his great grandchildren, Blake Perry, Kyle Nelson, Easton Perry, Chandler Perry, Hudson Perry, Skylar Lightsey and Reese Lightsey. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
