As we bid Rex farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Rex is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex Edward Fultz Sr. and Kathleen Griffitts Fultz; his daughter April Dawn Fultz; and his sister Kathy Harden. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia "Cindy" Gray Fultz of Thomaston; and his children, Amy Carter (David) of Thomaston, Angela Carter (Jimmy) of Thomaston, Amber Landers (Chris) of Thomaston and Chuck Fultz (Jessica Colin) of Thomaston. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Coggins Funeral Home (321 Hannahs Mill Rd, Thomaston, GA 30286). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
