It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Franklin Witte of Thomaston, Georgia, born in Fort Benning, Georgia, who passed away on December 11, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Witte and Vivian Witte; and his brothers, William Witte and Robert Witte. He is survived by: his wife Cherrye McGee Witte; and his siblings, Linda Straley (Arthur) and Jonathan Witte (Vicki). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
