She was predeceased by: her parents, Holmes E. Long and Garnett Pitts Long; her former husband Hobson Lane Stephens, Jr.; her husband Harvey Eugene Johnson; her brother Edmond Long; and her son-in-law Keith Boyt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Myra Boyt and Starlynn Shannon (Mike); her siblings, Kathryn Eggleton, Henry Long (Linda) and Stanley Long (LaFaye); and her great grandchildren, Kristen Slaton, Tim Richards, Brittney McElhenney, Jamey, Chelsea McElhenney, Riley, Kayden, Tucker, Jackson, Ashton, Jennifer McElhenney, Stephen, Hayden Sample, Cody Boyt and Ashley Ledbetter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
