She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommie Byrd Mauldin Gordy and Oscar Leonard Gordy; her husband Harvel; her grandparents, Byrdie Emma Thompson Mauldin, Thomas Hunt Mauldin, Martha Susie Braddy Gordy and Oscar Gnome Gordy; her aunt Bessilu Mauldin; and her niece Pam Scott.
She is survived by: her daughter Rhonda (John); her granddaughters, Jennifer Moseley and Ashley Migliaccio (Mike); her great grandchildren, Jonah Ryan and Eli Michael; her sister Ann Vickers; her brother-in-law Ollie; her nephew Tyre Scott; and her great-niece Megan (Patrick).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Thomaston First United Methodist Church, Shriners Children's Hospital, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
