He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Edward Nixon, Sr. and Betty Littleton Nixon; and his brother Marshall Nixon. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Nixon; his daughters, Kelli Nixon (David Frasier), Amanda Thiel (Benjamin), Tamera Burdette (Bobby), Amber Jones and Crystal Jones; his grandchildren, Jaycee Avery, Summer Nixon, Mathias Thiel, Dana Carroll (Jamie), Becky Broughton (David), Trey Burdette (Kaetlin), Kamryn Bevel, Wehndi Pitts and Abbee Pitts; and his sisters, Deborah Hancock (Greg), Rachel Pergola and Donna Johnson (Tom). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. View Baptist Church (2569 Jeff Davis Rd, Thomaston, GA 30286). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
