He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Lee Casteel and Sarah Elizabeth Birdsong Casteel. He is survived by: his wife Nellie "LaVelle" Hall Casteel of Thomaston; and his sons, Tyrone Casteel (Melissa) of Woodstock and Al Casteel (Joy) of Thomaston. He is also survived by four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
