It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian Ramsey Abbott of Thomaston, Georgia, who passed away on February 29, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Emmett Ramsey and Clara McKnight Ramsey; her former life partner William LaFayette McFarlin, Jr.; and her husband Charles Mitchell Abbott, Sr.. She is survived by : her children, Donald McFarlin (Jan) of Thomaston, Steve McFarlin (Cliffie) of Perry, GA, Janice Glacken (Gordon) of LaGrange, KY and Chuck Abbott (Karen) of Tucker, GA.; and her brother Billy Ramsey of Barnesville, GA.. She is also survived by Seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
