He was predeceased by: his father Wilbur Travis Nix; and his wife Margie Taylor Nix. He is survived by: his mother Mary Louise Baker of Thomaston; and his children, Angela Stepp (Steed) of Thomaston, Tara Nix of North Carolina, Jason Nix of Thomaston and Thomas Nix (Amber) of Thomaston. He is also survived by grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
