He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gordon Wheless and Jacquelyn Underwood Wheless. He is survived by: his daughter Wendy Wheless of Decatur; and his siblings, Cindy Wheless of Thomaston, Luanne Wheless McCard of Thomaston and Dan Wheless of Clearwater, Florida.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at the Fletcher Day Funeral Home (628 N Church St, Thomaston, GA 30286). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the South View Cemetery (942 S Church St, Thomaston, GA 30286).
