With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Amanda Elizabeth Brown Davis of Thomasville, Georgia, born in Panama City, Florida, who passed away on October 6, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Brown and Mary Pearl Davis Brown; and her siblings, Odessa Day, Roma Boswell, Mozelle Hess and Frank Brown.
She is survived by: her husband Willie Parker "Dave" Davis Jr.; her sister Vonceil "Cecil" Boswell; and her nieces, Pamela Marie Davis Arceneaux (Paul Lindsey) and Mary Elizabeth "Betsy" Davis (Brandy Lynn). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Heart Association in her memory.
