She was predeceased by: her parents, Rena McGarrah Palmer and Lester Palmer. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Gunter; her children, John Mell Gunter of Atlanta and Lisa; her son-in-law Philip Leabo of Thomasville; her grandsons, Gunter Leabo and Justin Leabo (Hannah); her great grandchild Watson Leabo; her sister Jimmie; and her brother-in-law Ernest Peeples of Zephyrhills. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hearts and Hands for Horses or Hospice of South Georgia.
