Berkeley Dawne Porter Obituary

Berkeley Dawne Porter, 10, of Thomasville, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020. Funeral Services will be held at First Newark Baptist Church on Friday, June 12, 2020 at 11:00 am with Rev. Steve Brooks officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 11th from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Whiddon Shiver Funeral Home Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Berkeley was born to Jacob Paul Porter & Charity Caroline Hobbs Porter, who both survive. Their family attended First Newark Baptist Church. She will be truly missed by all who loved her. Survivors include, her parents, Jacob & Charity Porter of Thomasville, sister, Willa Porter, and brother, David Porter, both of Thomasville, maternal grandparents, Tim & Margaret Hobbs of Thomasville, paternal grandparents, Michael & Deborah Porter of Bishop, GA, great-grandmother, Ann Hobbs, and great-grandfather, Amos Richard Fallin, Sr., both of Thomasville, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Martha Fallin, Henry Melton Hobbs, Jr., and Ann Dixon.
