Betty Cox Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Betty Cox (Thomasville, Georgia) is shared. Betty, born on September 17, 1929, passed away on June 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Betty will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Betty by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Betty is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Betty’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Terry and Nebbie Luckie Terry; her husband Rob; her brothers, Herman (Mary Virginia Terry) and Bill (Evelyn Terry); and her brother-in-law Rad Calkins.
She is survived by: her daughter Betsy Cox of Jacksonville; and her sister Marilyn Terry Calkins (Arizona) of Tucson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
