He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Teachey and Lola Gurganus Teachey; his siblings, Patricia "Patsy" Teachey Cotton and Wilbur Murle Teachey; and his wife Lindsey Wilkes Teachey.
He is survived by: his former wife Rebecca "Becky" Floyd; his daughter Amanda Teachey Irwin of Wilmington, NC; his grandchildren, Sydney White, Tyrelle White, Grayson Irwin and Cameron White; and his sister Lynn Teachey Burdine.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calendar Allen & Allen Funeral Home (110 W Hansell St, Thomasville, GA 31792).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you please consider donating to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research) or DFI (Diabetes Foundation Inc.) A service will be held on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
