Curtis left this world on September 25, 2025 at the age of 98, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Shores and Lotchie Shores; his wife Alma Wade Shores; his daughter Glenda Shores Thursby; and his siblings, Geraldine Shores Rowe, Clyde Shores, Charles Shores, Frances Shores Fulgham and Doris Shores Storey.
He is survived by: his daughter Rhonda Parrish (Buddy) of Thomasville; his sister Bobbie Shores Zaleski; his grandchildren, Curt Parrish, Jill Parrish Copps (Jason), Jamie Shealey and Jordan Shealey; and his great grandchild Wyatt Copps. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
