She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Leonora Johnson; her husband Burnice Morris; and her sister Betty Hurst. She is survived by: her children, Jerry Morris (Verna) of Thomasville, Deborah Barden of Thomasville and Tania Duncan Royal (Travis) of Thomasville; her sisters, Sarah Barrett of Thomasville and Joyce Kelly of Thomasville; her sisters-in-law, Elaine Tillery and Maggie Wood; and her grandchildren, Kevin Morris, Stacy Morris, Brandy Weldon and Timothy Duncan. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Donations may be made to the youth ministry at First Newark Baptist Church.
