She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Shelton Cassidy and Mabel Elizabeth Thomas Cassidy; her husband Charles Franklin Aycock Gibson; and her brothers, Ernest J. Cassidy and Thomas S. Cassidy.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Franklin Gibson of Tallahassee and Diane Elizabeth Gibson Newsome; her grandchildren, Nicholas Franklin Gibson and Kimberly Newsome Gray (Jarrod); her great grandchildren, Ethan Randal Gray, Preston Wayne Gray, Nicholas Franklin Gibson, Jr. and Nichole Gibson; and her sisters-in-law, Sarah Dell Gibson Jackson and Doris Tryon Cassidy. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
