We are sad to announce that on October 27, 2022, at the age of 98, Dorothy Rigsby (Thomasville, Georgia), born in Tallahassee, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lucille Thomas Felkel and William Felkel; her stepfather Ryland Langley; her siblings, James Felkel, Owen Felkel, Catherine "Sissy" Felkel Howard and Ryland Terry (David Cary); her husband David Green Rigsby; her sons, David Cary Rigsby and Ryland Terry Rigsby (Sharon); her daughter-in-law Kate Pearce; and her grandchildren, Kathryn Rigsby, Kara Rigsby Godfrey (Adam), Jennifer Rigsby Reid (Kevin), Joshua Rigsby (Karen) and John David Rigsby (Adam). She was also cherished by six great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a memorial contribution be made to Thomasville First United Methodist Church, 425 North Broad Street, Thomasville, Georgia 31792, or to a charity of your choosing.
