He was predeceased by : his parents, Elwood Jarrard and Murl Byrd Jarrard; his son Jay W. Vonier; his sister Clarice Clark; and his niece Tracy Todd (Jack) of Dunwoody.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Lou Vonier; his daughter Jennifer Vonier Mason (Chad) of Tallahassee; his granddaughters, Katie Mason, Sarah Wychor (Jack) and Hannah McKinnon (Chris); his great grandchild Finn McKinnon; his aunts, Lena Mae McGinty and Genevieve Carter of Thonotosassa, FL; his niece Aimee Stevens (James) of Peachtree City; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Wyatt Stevens, Allison Stevens, Ryan Todd (Danielle), Harrison Todd and Leah Todd; and also Riley Michelle Todd.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (210 N Broad St, Thomasville, GA 31792). Due to the Rose Show Festival activities, please arrive early enough to allow for time to park and get to the chapel.
