He is survived by: his daughters, Patsy Exum Smith (Kevin) of Valdosta and Nancy Exum Hiers (Mike Jordan) of Thomasville, Georgia; his grandsons, Justin McCann (Sara) of Thomasville and Adam McCann of Barwick, Georgia; his children, Galen Smith (Lauren) of Pensacola, Ronni Smith (Jordan) of Quitman, Savannah Hiers-Sorrentino (Thomas) of Thomasville, Andrew Hiers (Emily) of Boston, Allie Hiers of Broken Arrow and Jacob Hiers (Mary Catherine) of Dixie, Georgia; his great grandchild Dominic McCann; and his grandchildren, Brooks, Ayla Kate, Ruby Smith, Jordi Smith, Charley, Lylla Hiers, Mary Margaret Hiers and Emma Rae Hiers.
