He is survived by: his wife Judi Strickland Howell; his son Bobby John Howell (Jessica) of Perry, GA; his stepsons, Ryan Graham of Thomasville, GA and Drew Graham of Cumming, GA; his grandchildren, Kiley Rickard, Karissa Rickard and Michael Geiger; and his siblings, Wayne E Howell (Willy) of Keifer, OK, J. D. Howell (Penny) of Lake City, FL, Thomas Howell of Valdosta, GA and Ann Hasty (Terry) of Valdosta, GA.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fredonia Baptist Church at 1855 Fredonia Rd, Thomasville, GA 31757.
