With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Barwick Burt (Thomasville, Georgia), born in Colquitt, Georgia, who passed away on November 23, 2023 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janet Barwick Burt to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Harrell Barwick and Hazel Peterman Barwick; her husband George K. Burt; her children, George S. Burt and Shannon F. Burt; her grandson Kenneth F. Bentley; and her siblings, Cathy B McGahee (Danny), Judy B Oliveto, Kelley Pilkinton (Chris) and Michael H. Barwick (Denice). She was also cherished by her four nieces, one nephew, three great nephews, and two great nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and the Thomasville Humane Society, as Janet held a deep love and compassion for both causes.
