He was predeceased by : his parents, Frederick Benjamin and Lucille Hickman Caldwell; his wife Sara Scoggins Caldwell of Thomasville; and his grandson Turner Caldwell. He is survived by : his former life partner Betty Caldwell; his children, Debbie Joiner (Jim) of Albany, Jody Caldwell (Terry) of Thomasville, Jeffrey Caldwell (Elaine) of Moultrie and Leslie Setzer of Albany; and his grandchildren, Josh Caldwell, Jay Joiner, Matt Joiner, Jake Setzer, Jordan Caldwell, Jessica Maddox, Chase Caldwell, Amy Gowan, Kristen Cook, Lindsey Sanders, Leah Won and Maggie Shirey. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
