He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Thomas and Jewell Harrison Robinson; and his siblings, Doris Alligood (Roger), Sara Thomas (Billy), Tommy Robinson (Ruby) and Dewey Robinson (Joyce).

He is survived by: his wife Withla R. Robinson; his daughters, Melissa Scholefield (Scott) of Kennesaw and Rhonda Melton (Mike) of Coolidge; his stepdaughters, Allison King (Scott) of Savannah and Blythe Koplin (Henry) of Macon; his grandchildren, Nick Scholefield of Atlanta, Colby Melton of Dixie and Kasey Melton of Bainbridge; his stepgrandchildren, Thacker, Adam, Thomas King, Brennan (Allison), Maggie and Katherine Hamilton; his brother-in-law Wavell Robinson (Darlene) of Pavo; and his great grandchild Livingston.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Pavo Baptist Church or Archbold Hospice in his honor.
