It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Ann Wester (Thomasville, Georgia), who passed away on August 5, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude C. Williams and Katie Lou Hammett Williams; her husband Henry Wester; her sisters, Robbie Tatum, Ocie Piland of Waycross, GA and Mattie Powell of Tallahassee, FL; her nephew Leon P Powell (Butch) of Tallahassee, FL.; and her brother Clarence Williams.
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Wester Maddox of Pavo, GA; her granddaughter Laura (Clements); her grandson-in-law Keefe Newton; her great grandchildren, Lauren Newton of Statesboro, GA. and Grant Newton of Statesboro, GA.; her nieces and nephews, Sherry Powell, Jan Powell of Tallahassee, FL, Rev. Andy Piland (Beth) of Monroe, GA, Michael Tatum of Lawrenceville, GA and Sunny Atwood of Tallahassee, FL; and her great-nieces, Sharon Powell Slaughter (Phil) of Thomasville, Ashley Piland Backstrom of Guntersville, AL and Catherine Piland Rogers of Monroe, GA.
