She was predeceased by: her parents, David Washington Williamson and Verlie Mae Collins Williamson; her husband Russell Strickland; her son Robert Lamar Singletary; her granddaughter Beverly Singletary; her siblings, Ted Williamson, J. C. Williamson and Nina Martin; and her brother-in-law Robert I. Singletary.
She is survived by: her children, Martha Singletary Butler (Allen) of Americus, GA, David Wayne Singletary of Cape Coral, FL and Jimmy Isaac Singletary (Chrissy) of Thomasville, GA.; and her grandchildren, Hamp Butler (Ashleigh), Rebekah Ransom (Brice), Rachel Groenhiem, Christy Singletary, Robert Singletary (Lashay), Natasha Singletary, Isaac Singletary, Barry Singletary (Christi), Beau Singletary (Savannah), Bennett Singletary (Jessica) and Dalton Singletary.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Whiddon Shiver Funeral Home (10451 US-84, Thomasville, GA 31757). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
