She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Benton and Sarah Benton; her husband James McClendon; and her siblings, Donald Benton, Myrtle Griffin, Vera Palmer, Lera Fielding, Edna Palmer, Junior Benton and Jeanette Tucker.
She is survived by: her son Winton McClendon; her daughter-in-law Brenda; her children, Darlane Terns and David McClendon (Tina); her daughter-in-law Tina; her grandchildren, Tina McDonald, Sheree McClendon, Renee Palma (Felipe) and Gregory McClendon; her great grandchildren, Brittney McDonald, Lexie McDonald Camposano (Tyler), Henry Palma and Annabella Palma; and her friend Madie.
