It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Virginia Weaver (Thomasville, Georgia), who passed away on October 23, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Griffin and Irma Willis Griffin; her husband Dr John W Weaver; and her sisters, Doris Norman and Margaret Robert.
She is survived by: her brother Winford Griffin (Butch); her sons, Mike Weaver (Celestine) of Thomasville, Mark Weaver (Lisa) of Thomasville and Gary Weaver (Jennifer) of Thomasville; her grandchildren, Kelly Chastain, Courtney Davis, Kristi Ambrose (Jordan), Chelsea Roberts (CJ) and Leslie Flowers (Tyler); and her great grandchildren, Holly Davis of Thomasville, Hadley Davis of Thomasville, Quinn Davis of Thomasville, Scarlett Chastain of Thomasville, Camille Chastain of Thomasville, John Phillip Chastain of Thomasville, Riley Ambrose of Thomasville, Jace Ambrose of Thomasville, Cason Ambrose of Thomasville, Laiken Roberts of Thomasville, Gavin Roberts of Thomasville, River Roberts of Thomasville, Killian Dorsey of Thomasville, Jenson Dorsey of Thomasville and Bellamy Flowers of Thomasville.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the East Side Baptist Church (220 Colton Ave, Thomasville, GA 31792). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
