He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnson Race and Elizabeth Race; his sister Marilyn Race; and his significant other Nancy Race. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Race (Shannon Lou) of Fort Worth and Tommy Race (Debbie) of Easley; and his grandchildren, Trevor Race (Naudia), Brandon Race (Keiann), Emily Thompson (Ty) and Brittany Ryon (Mason). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
