She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Price and Foy Hagan Price; her husband Floyd Taylor; her son Forrest Sumner; and her siblings, Cooper Price, Harry Price, Verna Mae Lewis, Lee Alma Viehmeyer and Lois Hall.

She is survived by: her children, Joey Sumner (Tammy) and Carolyn "Skunky" Sumner Hoover (Ben); her daughter-in-law Mabel Sumner; her brother Jimmy Price (Peggy) of Fayettville, NC; and her grandchildren, Corey Sumner (Lori), Kelli Sumner, Christie Sumner, Blake Sumner (Sara), Morgan Taylor, Hunter Taylor and Garrett Taylor. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
