She was predeceased by: her parents, Teddy C. Watkins and Jessie Elma Watkins; her husband Robert Lee Benton Sr.; and her granddaughter Rebecca Bailey Sanders. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Bailey (Tom), Patti Bannister (Johnny) and Robert Benton (Beth); and her grandchildren, Margaret Ann Marsh (Wallace), Robert Lee Benton III (Bri), Mary Elizabeth Clifford (John), Leanne Culbreth (Til), Mary Grace Murphy (Rick) and Tom Bailey Jr. (Ashley). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
