He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lidge Smith and Ruby Jane Barfield Smith; and his siblings, June Elaine Smith, Martha Jan Rogers and William Kenneth Smith.
He is survived by: his children, William Tommy Smith (Julie) of Coolidge, Sherry Hargraves (Randall) of Thomasville, Robert Eunice (Terri) of Thomasville, Teresa Hutchinson (Stevie) of Hahira and Sabrina Bruce (David) of Chattanooga; his siblings, Gene Smith of Thomasville and Margie Ann Little of Boston; and his grandchildren, Joshua Smith, Makenzie Smith, Kelly Thomas, Brooks Halley, John Halley, Anthony Halley, Matthew Halley, Makayla Pickett, Dewayne Eunice and Crystal Clements. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
