She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Smith and Martha Smith; her sister Patricia Ann Smith; and her niece Sheila. She is survived by: her siblings, Missy Griffin (Carl) of Barwick, Greg Smith (Jean) of Coolidge, Gary Smith of Barwick, Jimmy Smith (Marjorie) of Lakeland, Steve Smith (Cathy) of Lakeland, Glenda McLaughlin (Gary) of Apopka, Florida and Eddie Smith (Janice) of Barwick; her niece Brooklyne Griffin; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Branson and Brinley Griffin of Barwick; and her nephew Kyle Griffin of Barwick. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Whiddon Shiver Funeral Home Chapel (10451 US-84 Ste E, Thomasville, GA 31757). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Barwick Baptist Church.
