He is survived by: his wife Jean Johnson of Thomasville; his children, Rhonda Johnson of Athens, Jan Johnson of Athens, Jonathan Gandy (Karri) of Thomasville and Ashley Gandy (Deena) of Thomasville; and his grandchildren, Carson, Skylar, Michaela, Jules and Blaine.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Newark Baptist Church (225 Russell Rd, Thomasville, GA 31757). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Newark Baptist Church's Youth and Children's Ministry 225 Russell Road, Thomasville, Georgia 31757 or to the Shriner's Children Hospital.
